The tire piece is cut from the tread side of the tire. Tire piece is mounted and inclosed in a protective case that can be opened. All pieces for the limited edtion plaque are approx. 2x3" and cut from the same tire use by Dale Earnhardt during the 1999 Season. Included with the plaque is a Limited Edition Certificate. The certificate includes the photo of the original tire shown in the photo on the left. We are also including a print out of an article written last year by Dale Jr. about his dad. Great Addition to any collection.

On Feb. 18, 2001. Dale Earnhardt, 49,
was fatally injured in a multi-car accident
on the final lap of the 43rd Daytona 500.
